"I was the Motive" Reviews:
  • As they have grown in numbers, they have grown in talent, as I Was the Motive is light years ahead of where they were in their last EP.
  • These brilliant tracks are explosions of vitriol and candor, sounding like the aural equivalent of a Jackson Pollock painting.

"Disillusioned and Aware EP" Reviews:
  • They've matured substantially for this EP. They've refined their songwriting skill exponentially, improved their vocal performances, added drums to their sound, and refined their already amazing lyrics to a razors' edge
  • Boss Tweeter simply has the best lyrics in rock music today. Period. And when you put all their elements together, you get more than the sum of its parts (and those parts were pretty awesome by themselves).
  • Altogether, Boss Tweeter is one of the most talented, creative, genre-bending bands since Nirvana.

  • Not only do they have a drummer now, but a damn fine one too.
  • Boss Tweeter also manages to not even try jumping on the 70's revival or the "emo" pussy bandwagons

  • Following in the footsteps of 80's punk, and the Alternative rock of the 90's, the band breaks through the categorization of normal bands
  • With Boss Tweeters multiple categorized Disillusioned and Aware EP, it becomes necessary to just enjoy the music instead of filtering the album into a category.

"June 2003 Demo" Reviews:
  • In my opinion, this was a grand first release by this band.
  • One good thing I noticed about this release is that they managed to be eclectic without being the sample butter spread over a whole loaf of French bread.

  • Boss Tweeter is steeped in music history. They have elements of classic rock, surf rock, modern rock, and even funk thrown into their sound. The references make it seem eclectic, but it's a highly accessible sound.
  • Boss Tweeter is putting some spunk back into classic rock, and some of the fun. But the real thing is....If lyrics were knives, Boss Tweeter would have the meat cleaver in a world of butter knives. They're that good.
