In each generation there is a line in music that adolescents cross and run to, flocking to its sounds with ravaging talons of hope and understanding.  These people were eager for something new, something other than the mainstream.  In the yester years of rock and roll, those lines were drawn by many different bands creating new genres.  As the underground became more inter connected, more bands came out playing what they felt was good.  The underground became the main stream of popular music, and the next generation sought out a new music to call its own.  These bands made the line by playing the music they played and being unwilling to conform to mainstream ideas.  In essence, the bands experimented with their own ideas, and the crowd loved them for being allowed to listen to it.

Boss Tweeter represents the tastes of generation next.  Following in the footsteps of 80's punk, and the Alternative rock of the 90's, the band breaks through the categorization of normal bands by playing what they feel.  The band is heavily experimental in music styles from the 50s surfer instrumentals to Michaels Untitled piece that has a fast paced rhythm and politically charged lyrics.  With Boss Tweeter's multiple categorized Disillusioned and Aware EP, it becomes necessary to just enjoy the music instead of filtering the album into a category.  When you can sit back and take out of a song as much or as little as you choose, you know you have something good.

When I had found I had crossed that line, I looked at my hands to see if I was the same person.  There was such a glory over everything.  ~Harriet Tubman
